DECEMBER 2021 BRIGG FARMERS MARKET TO ATTRACT A HOST OF CHRISTMAS SHOPPERS

If the weather is half decent the Christmas 2021 Brigg Farmers' Market should attract the biggest attendance of the 12 monthly ones held in the town centre this year.
Brigg Farmers' Market on Saturday, December 18, from 8am to mid-afternoon, will be accompanied by Saturday's general market, offering fruit, veg, flowers and fish.
Folk will be visiting the stalls to stock up on produce and goods to see them through the festive period. Gifts will also be bought for friends and family members.
North Lincolnshire Council operates the farmers' and general markets and offers FREE car parking to visiting shoppers.
Most of the market visitors will also drop in at shops and perhaps eateries within the town centre.
Brigg Blog's advice to drivers is arrive early to ensure you get a space in the Old Courts Road car park, close to the A18.
If you are travelling to Brigg for the first time to attend the Farmers' Market, the postcode for your sat nav or mobile phone is DN20 8ER.

Santa is due to visit Brigg Heritage Centre, in the Angel building, from 10am on Saturday.

Perhaps some people living in North Nottinghamshire, South Yorkshire and other parts of Lincolnshire will decide to use the Saturday-only Brigg line passenger train service to visit the market this weekend. We shall see...
