SPECIAL SUMMER MARKET IN BRIGG THIS SATURDAY TO DRAW CROWDS

Expect good support to be enjoyed by the special Brigg Summer Market on Saturday (June 10).
Co-ordinated by the Brigg Town Business Partnership, it will take place across the town centre from 10am to 2pm.
People are being encouraged to "Love Brigg at Brigg Market."
Attractions include music, traditional games in the Market Place, a falconer from Lincoln Castle, Andrew's Hedgehog Hospital, Bumble Bee, Earthbound Misfits, stalls showcasing arts & crafts and food items, a barbecue at The Deli & Diner on Wrawby Street, Tuckers ice cream (locally made), The Crepe Man and face painting.
This will be in addition to the usual Saturday general market selling fruit, veg, flowers and fish. The raffle, in support of Brigg Food Bank, will be drawn at 2pm.
Free car parking is offered on Saturdays courtesy of North Lincolnshire Council, while passenger trains will be running along the local line - making the market available to people living in Sheffield, Worksop, Retford, Gainsborough and Kirton. The first train of the day will arrive in Brigg around 9.15am.

Warm weather and bright sunshine yesterday (Thursday, July 8) helped to ensure another good attendance at the general market (see pictures below). Seasonal strawberries seemed to be proving popular.
