LATEST BRIGG HOUSING PLANS SEEKING COUNCIL APPROVAL

Plans for two domestic property extensions have recently been submitted in Brigg - and North Lincolnshire Council will now decide whether to grant the required planning approval.
Permission is being sought to erect a single-storey rear extension, block up a rear window, alter a garage door into a window and make some internal alterations at 23 Poppyfield Way (on the modern housing estate near Atherton Way).
Planning permission is also being requested to erect a two-storey side extension to the dwelling at 2 Birch Avenue on the Newlands estate.
Brigg Town Council will be consulted on both applications as part of the planning process before the North Lincolnshire authority makes its rulings.
Meanwhile, West Lindsey District Council has granted outline planning permission to erect one dwelling and an associated garage on land off Smithy Lane, Bigby.
North Lincolnshire Council has now granted permission to erect a single-storey rear extension at 8 South Street, Barnetby.
The authority has also approved the erection of a single-storey ground floor side and rear extension, with alterations made to provide additional accommodation, at 9 Scawby Road, Broughton.
