FOOTBALL & CRICKET DOUBLE IN BRIGG WITH HIBALDSTOW ALSO AT HOME

There will be football and cricket for sports fans to watch in Brigg on Saturday (July 10).
Having won one and lost one of their Saturday pre-season friendlies so far, Brigg Town FC have another coming up at the EC Surfacing Stadium where they will host Belper (1pm KO). The Hawthorns licensed bar and Pips Kitchen will be open for refreshments, together with the free-to-use children's play area.
The cricket season has now reached its halfway point, but when Brigg Town play Horncastle at the Recreation Ground tomorrow afternoon it will be only their second Lincolnshire League Division Three home game of the campaign.
Having lost their last three matches, 10th-placed Town will be keen to get back on the victory trail tomorrow against Horncastle who are four positions below them.
Start time at the Rec, off Wrawby Road, is 1.30pm, with the game scheduled for 45 overs a side.
Hibaldstow, who have yet to hit form in Division One, entertain leaders Scunthorpe Town 2nds tomorrow from 1.30pm, while promotion-chasing Broughton journey south to take on mid-table Louth 2nds in the same section.
Broughton 2nds are without a fixture in Division Two on Saturday, while the club's Sunday side has a blank day tomorrow (Sunday) in the Mick Walker North Lindsey League.

Hibaldstow were in action last Sunday (July 4) but not for very long as heavy rain brought their Division Two game to a premature end. Messingham had reached 25 without loss in reply to their hosts' 121. Lee Robinson made 38 of those with team-mates Joe Taylor, Josh Robinson and Mel Oades reaching double figures. Match abandoned - 1pt each. There's no Lindsey League game for Hibaldstow tomorrow (July 11).

Lincolnshire's county team will be playing Norfolk in a three-day game at the Chichester Road ground in Cleethorpes in the National Counties competition on Sunday, Monday & Tuesday (July 11, 12 & 13). Play starts at 11am.
Lincolnshire will select from the following squad: C Wilson (Captain), D Cliffe, B Coddington, J Cook, J Fell, M Footitt, C Free, D Freeman, N Keast, T Keast, J Kendall, L Kimber, S Johnson, A Moor, J Timby, B Wright.
