SPECIAL BRIGG SUMMER MARKET PROVES ENJOYABLE

The special summer Saturday market held in Brigg town centre attracted a good attendance yesterday (Saturday, July 10).
This event was co-ordinated by the Brigg Town Business Partnership, with stalls in the Market Place and the pedestrianised part of Wrawby Street offering a wide range of craft and food items to visiting shoppers.
There was also music, stilt-walkers (pictured here on College Yard) and traditional games for people of all ages to try.
Many of those who attended this special market also visited Brigg shops, eateries, pubs and other businesses - generating welcome trade for the town.
Our monthly Brigg Farmers' Markets, organised by North Lincolnshire Council, have been popular for more than 20 years. They take place towards the end of the month.
But it was good to see yesterday's showpiece event offering something in the town centre on a Saturday earlier in the month.
The social media hashtags #lovebrigg and #visitbrigg were certainly supported yesterday. July 2022 will hopefully see something similar taking place.
