A number of Brigg households did not get their recycling boxes emptied yesterday (Tuesday, January 12). And some of them have raised the issue with North Lincolnshire Council.
The latest news we have (late morning Wednesday) is that the council intends to return today to complete the task.
The council said through its Twitter feed: "Unfortunately, some recycling boxes were unable to be collected in Brigg yesterday. Please leave them out for collection as a team is returning today to collect."
As far as we know, all Brigg general waste (wheelie) bins were emptied on time yesterday.
It's unusual for Brigg recycling boxes not to be emptied on the due date.
WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON UPDATE: Crews visited many Brigg homes and emptied their recycling boxes.
Please note that brown bin (garden waste) collections will resume in Brigg from Tuesday, January 19 after a winter break of some weeks.
