This eye-catching artwork on show in a Brigg shop window offers an interesting contrast.
With all but essential shops unable to admit customers at present due to the Coronavirus emergency, the busy scene is at odds with relatively quiet situation on the other side of the glass window on Wrawby Street with far few people about than is normally the case - even in January.
The framed painting - presumably donated to the Oxfam Shop - has been reduced by a tenner to only £9-99p.
That's going to be a bargain buy for someone when these charity premises are finally permitted to reopen. Or perhaps someone will snap it up online?
The painting suggests a city or town in the late 19th or early 20th century, but clearly not Brigg.
