SIZEABLE RISE IN BRIGG CRIME


There has been a sizeable month-on-month rise in Brigg crime, latest police figures show. 

The town experienced 89 crimes during November 2020 - compared with 61 in October.
November's crime stats from the Humberside force have been released through www.police.uk
Areas with most incidents during November were the town centre (17), the Springbank estate (12) and Newlands/Atherton Way (also 12).
In comparison, there were 30 crimes recorded in Brigg throughout November 2019 and 63 during November 2018.
Incidents of various kinds were reported in November 2019, the crime categories including violence, criminal damage & arson, burglary, public order and shoplifting.
