TESCO CLOSING ITS PETROL STATION IN BRIGG TEMPORARILY

The Tesco store petrol station near the A18 in Brigg will be closed temporarily from tomorrow (Monday, January 18, 2021).
Work will be taking place, and there were some signs of this beginning yesterday (Saturday) when we took the picture seen above. It is thought this may take a week to complete.
Some months ago, several new charging points were installed on an area of the car park adjoining the store for shoppers to boost the batteries of their 'green' cars - free of charge.
A sign beside the entry/exit road near the petrol station informs motorists that they can top up their tanks at Tesco Extra in Scunthorpe while Brigg's facility is out of action. However, its more likely that drivers in Brigg who are used to calling at Tesco will now be switching to the Esso station on Bridge Street.
