BRIGG ON THE EDGE OF SNOW & ICE BAD WEATHER WARNING ZONE

Brigg could be in for some snow and ice later today (Thursday, January 14) but might avoid the wintry weather.
The Met Office has issued a yellow bad weather warning effective until 9pm tonight.
A map accompanying the forecast, and including a swathe on northern England, indicates the area to be affected which stops a couple of miles to the west of Brigg, although Kirton Lindsey is included.
Caistor, Grimsby and Cleethorpes have been excluded from the yellow warning.
Surveying the area to be affected, the Met Office says: "Sleet and snow will slowly die out on Thursday evening with ice forming on untreated surfaces."

4pm UPDATE THURSDAY: A further Met Office warning for ice to affect North Lincolnshire until 10am tomorrow (Friday) has now been issued.
