North Lincolnshire Council has re-affirmed very welcome plans to bring a new food festival to Brigg town centre.
The local authority will be holding the first North Lincs FoodFest in Crowle Market Place, in the Isle of Axholme, tomorrow (Friday, November 1) from noon to 8pm.
But the council stresses we can expect to see the FoodFest travelling to Kirton, Brigg, Barton, Epworth and elsewhere over coming months.
A spokesperson explained: "North Lincs FoodFest is a new travelling food festival that will take place in town centres around North Lincolnshire and showcase a whole feast of local delights."
As a taster for what's coming to Brigg in due course, the Crowle FoodFest will see hungry visitors sampling mouth-watering meats from The Pink Pig, crepes from The Crepe Company, pizzas from Pizza Mamma, a hog roast from Lion Outside Bars, German sausages from the German Swing Grill, milkshakes from Moo Moo’s and cookies courtesy of The Cookie People Company.
The second FoodFest is planned for Scunthorpe town centre on Saturday, November 30, to coincide with the Scunthorpe Christmas Lights Switch On.
