BRIGG TAKES PART IN FIVER FEST

A new initiative has been launched to help local shops and businesses in Brigg attract more customers and boost their takings.
Totally Locally Brigg aims to get shoppers to spend their hard-earned cash in support of the hard workers who own and run outlets within our town.
There are many 'Totally Locally' initiatives across the country assisting independent businesses - and not just retailers.
These groups highlight the creation and retention of "real local jobs."
Brigg is taking part in an October initiative called the National Fiver Fest.
Ours is the only town in North Lincolnshire mentioned in the list of participants, although North East Lincolnshire is involved.
Until Saturday, October 12, local traders in 57 towns across the UK are providing special offers for just £5.
A forum called Totally Locally Brigg has now been established on Facebook.
Prior to the weekend the Rabbit Hole Book Shop, in the Market Place, posted information about a picture book by a renowned children's author being offered for just a fiver!
