FOOD AVAILABLE SEVEN DAYS A WEEK AS BRIGG PUB LAUNCHES NEW MENU


Traditional pub grub favourites like stew and dumplings feature in a new menu launching this week at one of our well-known town centre hostelries.
From Monday, October 14 the Britannia Inn, on Wrawby Street, will be offering a range of meals every day of the week.
New landlady Alia Harris recently relaunched Sunday lunches; now she's adding a Monday to Saturday Britannia Inn Pub & Kitchen menu from 12 noon into the evening - scheduled finish time 9pm, depending on demand.
Six starters are on offer, including sharing platters, soup and garlic mushrooms.
Main courses include stew and dumplings, home-made steak and ale pie, chilli, scampi, curry, and beef burgers. Main meals are in the £5 to £6 price range.
Among the desserts are apple crumble and treacle sponge.
Vegetarian options are available and there's a kids' menu at £3.50p.
