Brigg Town Football Club will be entertaining Retford FC on Saturday (October 26) in ToolStation Northern Counties East Division One at the EC Surfacing Stadium (Hawthorns) with a 3pm kick-off.
Retford supporters can take a direct Northern company train from their Nottinghamshire station to Brigg this Saturday, and we expect a good number to do so.
Trains leave Retford (Low Level) at 8.39am and 12.35pm, the latter arriving at Brigg station at 1.20pm.
Pips Kitchen - serving food at reasonable prices - will be open at Brigg's ground when supporters get to the ground, and the clubhouse bar is fully licensed.
This season we've produced a Guide to Brigg for Visiting Football Fans. View it through this link...
Retford FC fans coming by train, coach or car will help to swell Saturday's crowd.
Fans from Retford are advised that Brigg's monthly farmers' market is being held this Saturday in the town centre, with many stalls offering a wide range of food and drink.
There's a direct train back to Retford leaving Brigg railway station at 7.48pm.
There will also be football to watch at Brigg Recreation on Saturday in the EC Surfacing Ltd Scunthorpe & District Football League's Tortank Barton Brotherhood Cup. Briggensians will be hosting Santon in a quarter final, kicking off at 2.30pm.
