EXTRA CCTV CAMERAS TO COMBAT CRIME AT BRIGG 'HOT SPOT'

Additional CCTV cameras have now been installed in Brigg to help tackle and deter criminal activity.
They are monitoring the Millennium Green, off Elwes Street, which has been the location for a good deal of anti-social behaviour, vandalism and other types of crime.
It is to be hoped that the Green's era as a crime 'hot spot' will disappear as word gets round the town that CCTV footage is available to the authorities should anything of a law-breaking nature occur.
The high-tech cameras are able to monitor this grassy area with seating near the Old River Ancholme - even after dark!
North Lincolnshire Council and Brigg Town Council have been working together on the new CCTV initiative, which will give our local police a helping hand.
