BRIGG BLOG PREVIEWS THIS WEEKEND'S LOCAL SPORT




Brigg Town Football Club Reserves host Lincoln United DS at the EC Surfacing Stadium (Hawthorns) tomorrow (Saturday, October 19), kicking off at 3pm, in the Balcan Lighting Supplies Lincolnshire League Premier.
Lincoln DS are just a place above the Zebras in the table so perhaps a close encounter can be expected. 

Brigg Town First Teamers visit Worsbrough Bridge Athletic (Barnsley) for a ToolStation Northern Counties East Division One fixture (3pm). Worsborough are just a couple of places above the Zebras in the table.
Leaders Barnetby United have an attractive home game coming up in EC Surfacing Ltd Scunthorpe & District Football League Division One on Saturday. The Railwaymen, who have won their opening four fixtures, will host second-placed Limestone Rangers at the Silver Street Ground, pictured above, with a 3pm kick-off.
There's no game for Briggensians in Division Two, but Barnetby United Reserves visit New Holland Villa in the Johnstone Insurance Nursing Cup first round (2.30pm KO).

Brigg Hockey Club has three homes games this Saturday on the all-weather pitch at the Recreation Ground. The Ladies 1sts will be starting their game at 12.30pm, the Men's 1sts at 2pm and the Men's 3rds at 3.30pm.
