The Remembrance Sunday commemorations in Brigg this weekend will see a milestone reached.
The Monument war memorial was completed and dedicated in 1919 - 100 years ago - having been generously donated to the town by Alderman Harry Stamp in memory of The Fallen.
On Sunday, November 10 the parade will meet up on Station Road, near Hewson House, from 9.25am.
Once everyone is assembled, it will set off for St John's Church where a service will be held at 9.50am.
At its conclusion, the parade will march through the town centre to the Monument, where two minutes' silence will be observed from 11am.
Scores of townsfolk will look on as poppy wreaths are laid on behalf of local groups and organisations.
Roads connecting with the war memorial roundabout will be closed to through traffic for some time before the ceremony and until the parade has been dismissed.
Friday (November 8) will see pupils from local schools planting crosses in front of the Monument. They will be assembling at 10.45am.
Brigg Town Council oversees the arrangements for Remembrance Sunday and the planting of crosses.
The Monument war memorial is a grade two listed structure and one of the town's most familiar landmarks.
Following Sunday's commemorations, people will be made welcome at Brigg & District Servicemen's Club, Coney Court, where there will be a light buffet from 1pm. A raffle is to be held - proceeds going to Help For Heroes.
