BRIGG AREA BUSINESS DUO NOMINATED FOR 'RURAL OSCAR'

Catering for people from Brigg and surrounding communities, the Miller's Barn Restaurant at Wrawby's Jolly Miller pub, off Brigg Road, has been nominated for a 'Rural Oscar' in a national competition organised by the Countryside Alliance.
Ernest Fiata and Sam Jacklin started their business venture only five months ago when they took over the Jolly Miller restaurant lease and renamed it Miller’s Barn.
So far they have provided their customers with four delightful Italian Themed Nights and handled many party bookings for families and local groups. Regular attractions include the Sunday carvery, and their 2019 Christmas fayre menu has now launched.
Tony and Sam manage the kitchen and restaurant sides of the business, with valued assistance from a small team.
Now in their 15th year, the Countryside Alliance Awards celebrate rural businesses 'and the people who go the extra mile for their communities.'
Nominations for 2020 are to be judged on quality rather than the quantity received and the  deadline is December 8.
Tony and Sam say it would be absolutely fantastic to be recognised for their efforts and have thanked everyone who nominated them.
Winners will be announced by the Countryside Alliance in the spring.
