BRIGG SPORTSMAN A CUT ABOVE WHEN IT COMES TO CHARITY FUNDRAISING

Brigg sportsman Chris Rodgers has raised around £1,000 for a worthy cause AND helped a youngster in need.
He had his "long and luscious locks" carefully snipped off, free of charge, by Sarah’s Retreat at 3 Morley Yard in Brigg town centre.
A well-known Brigg footballer, Chris is donating his hair to The Little Princess Trust which make wigs for children who have lost theirs due to cancer treatment and other conditions. It can cost £500 just to create one hairpiece.
Prior to the weekend, Chris gave Brigg Blog an update on the fundraising and sent us these photographs.
"Currently on £977.80 so it will hopefully get to the £1,000 mark, and the positive comments and messages have been brilliant," he said.
There's still time to donate to Chris's Big Cut online, using this link...
