Staff at Brians DIY - in Brigg town centre - completed a Static Bikeathon in aid of charity at the weekend.
Staff member Helen arranged the posters and collection buckets from the hospital.
Brian's launched its own cycle sales and repair business earlier this year at the Wrawby Street premises. View details here...
Ken Harrison, from Brigg Matters magazine, went along to the event with his camera and reports...
WHEEL THEM IN...!
The odometer read 95km, but no-one has gone anywhere!
It was all frantically happening in Brian's DIY emporium on Saturday.
Staff were involved in a non-stop Bikeathon, pedalling madly round the store, but remaining static.
They were taking it in rotation during an all-day event of raising money for the children's Disney Ward at Scunthorpe Hospital.
Folks took is very seriously, with one staff member dressed appropriated in the gear of shorts and vest, complete with bottled water, for his stint in the saddle.
The photographs show the hub of Peter Wilson's (plus his son) chain-gang crew and other staff members waiting for their turn on the bike.
At least the bike didn't get a puncture during the cycle-relay, although repair kits are readily available from Brian's new specialised in-store cycle section.
