WORLD CUP SERIES EVENT COMING TO BRIGG

Two major annual Spring events in Brigg are going ahead as planned. And one of them "forms part of the World Quadrathlon Federation World Cup series."
The LincsQuad group has arranged its Keyo Brigg Bomber Standard Distance and Middle Distance Triathlons for Sunday, May 30 - based at Ancholme Leisure Centre, Scawby Brook (starting early morning).
Sponsored by well-known Brigg company Keyo Agricultural Services, both will involve competitors swimming in the River Ancholme (wetsuits mandatory!), cycling along local roads (Brigg, Hibaldstow and Redbourne) and a 10k run along the river towpath from Brigg to Broughton Bridge and back.
In addition, the Middle Distance Quad includes a 7k kayak section on the River Ancholme - one lap around Island Carr.
Entries are now being invited by the organising group.

LincsQuad stresses that due to Covid regulations there will be no mass starts; competitors will be allocated staggered start times. Presentations will follow at the finishing line.
