LATEST BRIGG AREA PLANNING DECISIONS & APPLICATIONS

With warmer weather ahead, a walled garden containing an outdoor swimming pool in the Brigg area has received planning approval.
Permission has been granted for a proposed garden wall to form a walled garden, swimming pool and garden room to include changing room, plant room and WC at Low Farm, Howsham Lane, Searby.
West Lindsey District Council categorised this as a householder development; no objections were received.
The Gainsborough-based authority has now refused two planning applications in South Kelsey:

  • Erection of two detached dwellings and garages on land to the west of North End Cottage, North End Lane.
  • Erection of a livestock building at Brandy Wharf Piggery, Waddingham Road.

Anyone refused planning permission by a local authority may, if they wish, lodge an appeal to be undertaken by a Government-appointed inspector.
North Lincolnshire Council is now considering Broughton applications seeking approval to erect a single-storey front extension at Rosewood, 26 Town Hill, and a single-storey extension (including demolition of garage) at 1 Harrys Dream.
In Redbourne, approval is being requested to convert an existing twin garage into a granny annexe at The Cloisters, Redbourne Park.
North Lincolnshire planners have also received notice of intention to fell several sycamore trees within Redbourne's conservation area at Springfield, Beck Lane. The council will give its views on this proposal in due course.
