NEW BRIGG EXTENSION APPROVED

North Lincolnshire Council has now granted planning permission for a first floor side extension to be built at a domestic property in Brigg.
No objections to this householder proposal for 19 St James Road were received from the public, Brigg Town Council or other agencies consulted.
A delegated assessment report by North Lincolnshire planners said: "The proposed addition is to extend above the existing garage at first floor. Given the orientation of the openings to the front and rear of the extension and the nature of the extension being above the existing garage and to the side of the neighbouring property it is not considered that there would be significant effects of overlooking, over-shadowing or oppression upon any neighbouring property to warrant resistance on these grounds."
Permission has been granted to erect a single-storey rear extension at The Old Reading Room, 9 Vicarage Lane, Scawby.
Consent has been given to fell a copper beech and a beech, and crown lift a lime tree, all within the Saxby-All-Saints conservation area at Mulberry Cottage, 12 Main Street.
The following local applications have been lodged with North Lincolnshire Council - decisions awaited from planners:
GREETWELL: Erect a new replacement garage at 28 Kirton Road.
SCAWBY: Notice of intention to fell four Lawson cypress and one cedar within the village conservation area at 4 Messingham Lane.
