KCOM ABOUT TO UNDERTAKE 'FULL FIBRE TO HOME' WORK IN & NEAR BRIGG

Communications company KCOM recently announced plans to install full fibre broadband cables in Brigg - writing to some residents and outlining its scheme through a presentation delivered online to the Town Council's latest monthly meeting. Stretches of pavement/road will be affected at various locations.
Details of when and where the Hull-based firm will be working locally in the near future are now known.
KCOM will be on Mill Lane, Brigg, between 8am on March 22 and 6pm on March 24 with temporary traffic controls in place.
Between March 22 and April 6 the project will be under way on Scawby Road, Scawby Brook (delays are unlikely for motorists).
From March 17 and 23 the company will be working on part of the Waters Edge housing estate, off Scawby Road, part of Broughton parish but bordering Brigg.
Details of work on other Brigg streets can be expected over the coming weeks.
The company has stressed it will restore surfaces to a high standard upon completion.
It is promoting Lightstream real fibre broadband locally - "with fibre that goes all the way to your home." View details here...
