MEMORIAL TO NANCY TAGUE PLANNED IN BRIGG

Brigg Town Council is to consider buying and installing a memorial bench dedicated to Nancy Walker Tague who died recently, aged 63.
As a volunteer, she put a great deal of time and effort into charitable work, notably for the Brigg and District Veterans' Group, Soldiers Off the Street and Brigg in Bloom.
Councillors will be asked to approve the purchase of a memorial bench during their monthly meeting to be held online, using the Zoom platform, on Tuesday, March 23, from 7.15pm.
The site chosen for Nancy's bench may be revealed during the discussions.
As ever, Public Question Time forms part of the agenda. Local people wishing to take part in this, or observe/listen to the meeting as it takes place, should send an email to the Town Clerk via enquiries@briggmarkettown.co.uk so arrangements can be made to admit them to the meeting on the night.
Tuesday's session will include a report on North Lincolnshire Council issues relating to Brigg from local ward representatives  Coun Rob Waltham and Couns Carl & Nigel Sherwood.
Also open to interested members of the public next Tuesday is a meeting of the Planning & Environment Committee which will follow the Town Council session.
Among items to be considered is an application seeking approval to erect two-storey side and rear extensions at 8 Grammar School Road.
