PLAN TO PRUNE SIX TREES WITHIN BRIGG CONSERVATION AREA

A plan to prune half-a-dozen trees within the Brigg Conservation Area has been submitted to North Lincolnshire Council.
The local planning authority has received 'notice of intention' to carry out work on six lombardy poplar trees.
They are situated behind Southfield House Care Home, Albert Street - some distance from the frontage of the property.
The application form tells the council these are "over mature poplar trees along the rear boundary."
The intention is to reduce the overall height by up to 50 per cent and reshape the trees.
They are located near the edge of the Conservation Area which covers the town centre.
North Lincolnshire Council says this notice of intention is "not yet determined."
Brigg Town Council is being consulted as part of the process.
HIBALDSTOW: Planning permission is being sought to erect a two-storey side extension at 87 Redbourne Road.
WRAWBY: Approval is being requested to erect an extension to the front of the dwelling, including associated works, at Tor Na Coille, Little Lane.
SCAWBY: Permission is being sought to erect a replacement detached garage at 34 St Hybald's Grove.
