Nine of the 61 offences recorded during December 2019 happened on/near the Waters Edge housing estate which is just outside the Brigg boundary.
December 2018 - in comparison - saw a total of 44 Brigg crimes; during December 2017 there were 41; in December 2016 there were 38.
So last month's 61-crime total is well up on previous years.
However, it only represents an average of two crimes a day across the town.
