REOPENING DATE AHEAD FOR BRIGG TOILETS
A reopening date for a block of public toilets in Brigg which has been closed since September 2019 is expected to be announced in the near future.
The WCs on East Park, near the Tintab shelter, were closed on safety grounds after lead was stolen from the roof, allowing rain into the building.
North Lincolnshire Council had the roof replaced during December, since when the 'Out of Order' signs have remained.
Coun Penny Smith sought an update at the latest Brigg Town Council meeting.
Coun Carl Sherwood, a cabinet member at North Lincolnshire Council, replied that although there was no date as yet he would be meeting with an officer next week who would inform him when the toilet block was "fit for purpose."
These toilets are used not only by local people but also bus, van and lorry drivers visiting the town.

So I suppose that they have to decide upon a convenient date, Nige.
