WINNER OF COVETED BRIGG AWARD ABOUT TO BE DECIDED

The winner of the top community award in Brigg will be chosen early next week.
Members of the Town Council will consider nominations received from the public for the Joseph Magrath OBE Award for Public Voluntary Service 2019.
The winner will be notified prior to the council announcing his/her identity to the public later in the week.
Councillors will make their selection on Monday night during their January meeting in the Angel Suite Lounge.
This will start earlier than usual at 6pm, and Public Question Time is listed on the agenda (see below).
Members of the public, as ever, are welcome to attend and listen to the discussions.
During Monday's meeting the council will be deciding how much money it needs for the next financial year beginning in April. Details of the budget for 2020/1 will be proposed for approval at the meeting.
Brigg Town Council will then tell the North Lincolnshire authority how much it requires and this will then form a small proportion of council tax bills sent out by the unitary body on behalf of itself and others to local households.
