BRIGG HISTORY TALK ABOUT LINCOLNSHIRE PLANTS AND THEIR USES
The next meeting arranged by Brigg Amateur Social Historians (BASH) will interest gardeners as well as those interested in times past.
Lincolnshire Historical Plants And Their Uses will be the subject of Loretta Rivett's illustrated talk on Tuesday, February 4 at Brigg and District Servicemen"s Club, Coney Court, starting at 8pm.
Learn about plants' appearance, taste and historic uses for clothes, paper, ink, rope, dyes, etc.
Admission to BASH meetings is free and there's no need to join the group or book places in advance - just go along to the venue, pictured above. Everyone is welcome, the group says.
Light refreshments will be served and a raffle held to help with costs.
Brigg & District Servicemen's Club is very close to the town's main car park on Old Courts Road.
