NEW HOME PROPOSED FOR BRIGG 'INFILL PLOT'

Approval is being sought to build a new house on one of the shortest streets in Brigg.
North Lincolnshire Council is now considering a planning permission to erect a detached dwelling adjacent to 1 Bramble Way on the edge of the Newlands estate.
The proposed site is described in the application as a single infill plot.
The property will be a modest three-bedroomed traditional two-storey family home with adequate parking for two vehicles, planners have been told.
The  application submitted to the council says
the land is designated “Proposed Housing" and stresses that the proposed dwelling has been designed with no first floor windows overlooking nearby properties.
Two young ornamental trees and another will be removed as part of the development; it is proposed to plant two ornamental replacements - a mountain ash and a cherry.
Brigg Town Council will be consulted as part of the planning process.
Any views it may have will be passed on to North Lincolnshire planners before a final decision is made.
The Town Council's Planning & Environment Committee has a meeting coming up towards the end of January.

Planning permission to erect single-storey rear extension at Gleneagles, Brigg Road, Wrawby, has been granted by North Lincolnshire Council.
