BRIGG PUB TO HOST BURNS NIGHT 2020 SUPPER IN SUPPORT OF FORCES' CHARITIES

A Brigg pub is to host a Burns Night supper on the big day - Saturday, January 25, 2020 - in aid of forces' charities.
Traditional 'north of the border' fare will be on offer at the Britannia Inn, such as haggis, neeps (turnips) and tatties (potatoes).
The there will also be a raffle - proceeds going to Veterans Against Suicide UK and Soldiers Off The Street.
The event runs from 7.30pm until late, and additional details can be obtained by calling 01652 794011 or by calling in at the Wrawby Street hostelry and inquiring at the bar.

The cost is £3 for food and £1 for the raffle.
The landlady tells Brigg Blog there's a big night in prospect.
Locals, of course, won't have to Walk 500 miles to enjoy it!
Burns' Night is a traditional holiday celebrated in Scotland, and by Scots living elsewhere, in memory of the country's famous poet Robert (Robbie) Burns. It often involves a (bag) piper heralding the arrival of the food and a few 'wee drams' of whisky.
