BRIGG TOWN EXTEND THEIR LEAD AT THE TOP OF THE TABLE

Brigg Town Football Club won 2-1 at Cottingham Rangers on Sunday (January 9) and continue to top Division Four of the Hull & District Veterans League.
This was an important victory against the second-placed team - extending Brigg's lead to five points.
Brigg have won six and drawn one of their eight league games so far, scoring 33 goals and conceding only nine.
David Betts and Will Hartley have both managed six goals.
Weather permitting, Brigg Vets' next league fixture will be on Sunday, January 23 when they host seconf-from-bottom Gilberdyke Phoenix at the EC Surfacing Stadium (Hawthorns) kicking off at 2pm.
