WHERE TO ENJOY FREE LIVE MUSIC AT BRIGG VENUES THIS WEEKEND


Live music will be on offer at venues in Brigg on Saturday night (August 6) with free admission to the gigs.
Ella Monroe will be singing some of the greatest hits from the 1960s through to the present day at the Lord Nelson Hotel, Market Place.
Jimmi Dee (Jimi Jimmi), pictured above during a previous gig in the town, will offer hits from the 1960s and 1970s to the present including soul, Motown, ska, reggae and glam rock at Brigg & District Servicemen's Club, Coney Court, from 8.30pm.
The North are to perform at Brigg Town Football Club's licensed Hawthorns Clubhouse on Saturday evening.
There will be a disco and karaoke session at the Dying Gladiator, Bigby Street, while Marcus James will be performing swing, rock and pop songs at Broughton Working Men's Club. Cardee, a duo, will be at Broughton's Red Lion, on the High Street.
A Traditional Saturday Market will be held in Brigg Market Place this Saturday from 8.30am, offering fruit & veg, flowers and fish.
While visiting the market, people can pop over to the adjoining Angel building and take a free look at Brigg Heritage Centre's current exhibitions.
Wrawby Hall, on Vicarage Road, is holding a Summer Fayre on August 6 (11am to 5pm).
People visiting Brigg by car on Saturday can enjoy free parking on Old Courts Road, behind the Angel and along Station Road.

On Sunday (August 7) Matty Haynes will provide live entertainment from 6pm at The Millfield venue in Castlethorpe.
Brigg Heritage Centre is now selling £12.50p tickets for an evening concert to be given by guitarist Claude Bourbon at the Buttercross function suite on Friday, September 9. He has played at the famous Glastonbury Festival and the one held on the Isle of Wight.
