BRIGG TOWN FOOTBALLERS WATCHED BY DIVISION'S BIGGEST CROWD OF THE DAY


Brigg Town Football Club's first teamers remain unbeaten in Toolstation Northern Counties East Division One following yesterday's home game against Harrogate Railway Athletic.
This match ended all square at 1-1 which means Brigg have drawn all three of their opening league games at the EC Surfacing Stadium (Hawthorns).
Having gained two away victories, the Zebras are now eighth in the table, within striking distance of the promotion play-off places.
Martin Pembleton produced a second minute goal from a free kick to delight the home fans yesterday, on what was a hot and sunny afternoon. However, Joe Crosby soon levelled for the visitors.
The official attendance - 383 - was the highest of the day in Division One by a considerable margin.
Brigg Town Development went down 6-0 away to Skegness Town Reserves in the Balcan Lighting Supplies Lincolnshire League Premier yesterday.
