COUNCIL DECIDES BRIGG & WRAWBY PLANNING APPLICATIONS

Domestic extensions proposed for a property in Brigg have now been approved by North Lincolnshire Council.
The authority has granted planning permission for the erection of single-storey ground floor extensions to the front and rear of the property at 9 St Helens Road.
An assessment report by planning staff said: "The property is a detached dwelling with a small front garden area and larger rear garden extending to Glanford Road to the rear."
Recommending that permission should be granted, the report said this proposal was in accordance with council policies. These relate to appearance and 'residential amenity'.
Brigg Town Council was consulted about the proposals and raised no objections.
North Lincolnshire Council has also granted planning permission to erect a detached bungalow, garage, plant room & log store, including demolition of existing buildings, at The Bungalow, Brigg Road, Wrawby (opposite the Jolly Miller pub & restaurant on the A18).
Wrawby Parish Council raised no objections to the proposals.
