BRIGG DEDICTED FOLLOWERS OF FASHION TAKE NOTE

Do you remember the Kinks' 1960s hit about the Dedicated Follower of Fashion?

A fabulous range of fashion accessories will be on show, and available to buy, at a Brigg event on Tuesday, September 15.

Sparkle & Stuff will be at St John's Church Hall, in Bigby Street, from 2pm to 3pm, during what they are calling Ladies' Hour.

Admission is free, and there will be a raffle and refreshments available.

"Bring a friend or two for a fun afternoon," say the organisers.

Proceeds to Brigg Mothers' Union.

Payment for items bought can be in cash or by cheque. Brigg Blog is pleased to see cheques still being accepted. It's sad that many businesses don't seem to accept this safe method of payment these days. You see an increasing number of shoppers now paying for a few quid's worth of stuff with a card. Not a step forward, in our humble opinion!
