Kitchen makeover firm Dream
Doors opened its latest UK showroom in Brigg on Saturday (19 September), in
a gala ceremony that saw Mayor of Brigg, Cllr James Truepenny cut the ribbon to
officially open the store.
The
ribbon-cutting came at the end of three days of celebrations that included:
Steve Bennett from the highly acclaimed Comfy Duck in Laceby doing cookery demos
on Saturday; cookery displays with chef Nigel Brown of the Nigel Brown Cookery Academy, using
some of Yorkshire's and Lincolnshire's finest produce; wine-tasting from Somerby
Vineyards and a raffle of kitchen items.
The new
showroom is located at Queen Street, Brigg, and franchise owners Nick and Sandy
Martin believe the combination of local expertise backed by a national brand
will go down a storm with residents of Brigg, North Lincolnshire, and the
surrounding areas.
“Our opening
was all about highlighting the amazing food that comes from the area, and now we
want to establish the store as a high quality local business, where people can
transform their kitchen for a fraction of the cost of a full re-fit,” said Nick
Martin. “We have all the help and support that comes from being part of a
national retail chain, but with the local knowledge and expertise that is so
important to Brigg. We are already part of the Humber Business
Network and can’t wait to get more immersed in the local business
community.”
Dream Doors is
the UK’s leading kitchen makeover firm, and now has a presence on 59 high
streets across the country. It transforms old and dated kitchens by replacing
doors, worktops and drawer fronts, saving time and money. Dream Doors MD, Troy
Tappenden believes the opening of this latest showroom proves the on-going
demand for kitchen makeovers:
“Our showrooms
have been successful all over the UK – people just love the idea of being able
to get a high quality refresh of their kitchen within 48 hours,” he said. “Nick
and Sandy in combination have a great set of skills to bring to Dream Doors and
I think the Brigg showroom has the potential to be one of our very best
performers.”
Nick Martin
spent much of his career before Dream Doors working in the seafood industry, and
is highly experienced at implementing sales and marketing campaigns. Sandy
Martin worked in HR before embarking on a career in interior design, and their
combined skills mean that Dream Doors customers can expect the highest possible
levels of service quality.
“We’ve already
transformed 20 or so kitchens prior to our showroom opening and the feedback
from our customers has been excellent,” continued Nick Martin. “We have a real
focus on delivering high quality customer service and with Sandy’s expertise in
interior design we have a lot to offer customers that want to transform their
kitchen.”
Nick and Sandy
are offering their customers a fantastic opening deal of a free oven, hob &
extractor, subject to T&C’s.
