This Brigg picture has come to light in our family archive. It was taken in the early 1970s by Coun Ken Fisher, who was a keen amateur photographer.
We think that's the Corn Exchange in the distance (left) with St John's Church tower just visible top right.
- Can someone give the exact location?
- Can anyone explain the reason for the gathering of townsfolk?
Perhaps Josie Webb, of Brigg Amateur Social Historians, will be able to provide some details.
