Improvements to the Dying Gladiator pub in Brigg town centre are being supported by Brigg Town Council.
An application has been submitted by the owner to install sliding sash windows to the south wall of the former coaching house - now the function room - repair existing brickwork and re-roof. Listed building consent is also being sought.
Consulted about the proposal, Brigg Town Council's Planning & Environment Committee, meeting in the Angel Suite, raised no objections.
Coun Jane Kitching said it was good to see investment within the Conservation Area.
North Lincolnshire Council planners will now decide whether to grant planning permission and issue listed building consent for 'The Glad' in Bigby Street.
