A proposed scheme to build 20 new homes in the Brigg area - half of which will be 'rent to home buy' - will be considered by North Lincolnshire Council's Planning Committee at its pre-Christmas meeting next week.
The committee, which is chaired by Coun Nigel Sherwood (Brigg & Wolds), will convene at 2pm on Wednesday, December 16 to make decisions on 16 pending applications from across the district.
They include three in the Brigg area:
HIBALDSTOW: Erect 20 dwellings comprising 10 rent to home buy, five shared ownership and five open market dwellings on land adjacent to the pumping station, Ings Lane.
BARNETBY: Erect a detached dormer bungalow and garage at 18 West Street.
SAXBY-ALL-SAINTS: Replace all windows and external doors at Camasstraddan, 41 Main Street, within the conservation area (Brigg and Wolds Ward). Brigg's Coun Rob Waltham and Carl Sherwood have asked for this application to be considered by the committee on the grounds of "significant public interest."
This meeting will be a 'virtual' one - conducted over the internet - due to the current Coronavirus emergency ruling out a traditional meeting of the committee in a room at the council's HQ in Scunthorpe.
