Congratulations go to well-known Brigg woman Ann Eardley who has reached a half-century of voluntary service with a well-known charity in the town.
A long-serving councillor and former Brigg Town Mayor, Ann joined Brigg's St John Ambulance on December 14, 1970.
She celebrated the milestone 50 years later - with a cup of tea and a biscuit!
Since Coun Ann announced her achievement earlier this week on social media, a number of people have posted 'well done' messages.
Former Brigg resident and town councillor, The Rev Alec Depledge, called it a fantastic achievement.
St John Ambulance, of course, does much more than administer first-aid.
Coun Ann is a tireless worker for the community, and many people will recall her DONKEY environmental group initiative, in which young people were encouraged to carry out various worthy tasks around the town.
She has laid the Remembrance Sunday wreath, on behalf of St John Ambulance, at the Monument for many years.
When Brigg Blog interviewed Coun Ann in May 2016 on the night she was installed as Town Mayor, we noted she was a member of the Stothard family, whose connections with this area stretch back to the 1600s.
She said she was very proud of Brigg and particularly the way it has developed since the regeneration project.
Stressing that she enjoyed helping townsfolk to resolve their problems, the new Town Mayor said Brigg was on a high and she called on everyone to work hard to keep it so.
