A new timetable for Brigg railway station passenger trains comes into force from Saturday (December 19) and will continue into 2021, travellers should note.
Times have been amended by the train operator and are now as follows:
TO BARNETBY, GRIMSBY AND CLEETHORPES: Depart Brigg at 9.13am, 1.11pm, 4.57pm (from platform one).
TO GAINSBOROUGH, RETFORD AND SHEFFIELD: 11.48am, 3.43pm, 7.48pm (from platform two).
The first train of the day on the Brigg line is now running 17 minutes LATER than it previously did. The amended timetable is due to run until May but we understand it may be reviewed in January. We will keep you posted.
The campaigning Independent Brigg Line Rail Group says passengers from Kirton Lindsey and Brigg who catch the first Cleethorpes-bound service can change at Barnetby to arrive in Meadowhall (well-known for its shops) at 11.04am and Sheffield at 11.11.
Please note that passenger trains - provided by Northern - only call at Brigg station on Saturdays.
