A flood defence project in Brigg is well underway but is likely to take many more weeks to complete.
Environment Agency flood embankment repairs are being carried out on the Old River Ancholme - the stretch in question being on Island Carr between the Cadney Road railway bridge and the southern end of Manley Gardens.
These progress pictures were taken over the weekend while there was a break in work.
The Environment Agency explained a couple of weeks ago that a routine inspection had found some damage to this embankment, prompting repairs to include adding more clay, regrading and reseeding the bank.
Following a follow-up inquiry made by Brigg Blog earlier this week, the Agency told us that "works are still on track for mid-January 2021."
Network Rail recently spent a couple of weekends carrying out routine inspection work on Cadney Road bridge, with road closures in place, but this was coincidental and had no connection with the Agency's project nearby.
