AUGUST BRIGG FARMERS' MARKET COINCIDES WITH BUSINESS ANNIVERSARY

With the monthly Brigg Farmers' Market taking place on a bank holiday weekend, a very large attendance of shoppers from across the district and well beyond is expected on Saturday, August 25, although we'll have our fingers crossed for decent weather.
The various farmers' market stalls in the Market Place will be trading from 9am until mid-afternoon, as will those on the adjoining Saturday general market, extending into Wrawby Street.
Both markets are operated by North Lincolnshire Council.

Remaining dates for farmers' markets (all Saturdays) in 2018 are: September 22, October 27, November 24 and December 22.
The one to be held only three days before Christmas should prove particularly busy.
On farmers' market Saturday last August we reported the official opening of new Brigg book shop, The Rabbit Hole, in Market Lane.
It has since relocated to large premises in the Market Place, near the junction with Elwes Street and Bigby Street.

Many happy returns to the business on its anniversary.
