ANOTHER BRIGG TEAM TO USE THE HAWTHORNS
A Brigg football team that's gained promotion to the top flight will be playing some of its Saturday home games at The Hawthorns ground during the new 2018/2019 season which kicks off in September.
Briggensians FC will be using Brigg Town's well-appointed ground when the Zebras have away fixtures in the Lincolnshire League.
Whenever this is not possible, Briggensians will be played nearby on North Lincolnshire Council's Recreation Ground.
Briggensians have been promoted to division one of the EC Surfacing Scunthorpe & District League, sponsored by a Brigg company, where opposing teams will include Barnetby United.
Barnetby have been drawn against two-time winners Swineshead Institute in the Lincolnshire Junior County Cup.
The Boston Premier Leaguers were winners of the competition in 1989-90 and 1991-92.
This tie will take place at Barnetby's Silver Street ground on Saturday, October 6.
