NOT A BOG STANDARD BRIGG AREA PLANNING APPLICATION!

We've been reporting  local council planning issues in the Brigg area for 36 years but can't ever remember one for a  wheelchair accessible dry composting toilet - until now.
North Lincolnshire Council has given the go-ahead  for such a facility to be installed at the Church Hall near historic All Saints' Church, on Vicarage Lane, Cadney (pictured).
A council heritage expert told his colleagues in planning: "There is little impact on the setting of the listed church. The proposed toilet is situated some distance away from the listed building with trees restricting views between the church and the new structure. It has a timber facing material and a slate roof which is suitable for the rural setting."
Cadney-Cum-Howsham Parish Council supported the proposal and there were no objections received by planners from the general public.
Brigg Blog must say that this cannot be described as a bog standard planning application!

'little impact on the setting', sums it nicely, Nige.
