THE CHANGING FACE OF BRIGG - VIEWS FROM THE COUNTY BRIDGE

An old warehouse near the County Bridge in Brigg town centre perhaps 50 years ago - picture on Nigel Fisher's Brigg Blog

Here are two views taken from the County Bridge in Brigg town centre, looking towards the Nelthorpe Arms pubs. Perhaps half-a-century divides them. 
The top one is thought to date from the 1960s or perhaps 1970s and shows the old warehouse in poor repair alongside the Old River Ancholme.
As our present day picture below shows clearly, the warehouse is long gone and the pub's beer garden occupies this location.

Not quite, Nige...the 2nd photo shows that a portion of the old building still remains....ie a window and hatchway frames in the boundary wall...
