Sports enthusiasts from the Brigg area might like to make a note of this...
Cleethorpes Cricket Club will be hosting a special match on Friday, August 5, featuring former Test stars Gordon Greenidge, Geraint Jones and Simon Jones.
They will be playing for Lashings All Stars who play special games across the UK.
If you have a car, there's plenty of space to park at the ground in Chichester Road, Cleethorpes, near the seafront.
Alternatively, take the Wolds Villager or Call Connect buses from Brigg to Barnetby railway station and catch a train to the resort.
August 5, we should remind you, is Brigg Horse Fair day. So there will be a clash of interest for some - Brigg Blog included!
