MAN LEAVES HIS CASH IN BRIGG MACHINE BUT GETS IT BACK

A lucky member of the public who used a Brigg ATM on Friday, June 17 - but left the money behind -  got their cash back, Humberside Police have revealed.
The force said yesterday, Wednesday: "A kind-hearted couple handed in the cash to Brigg police station after spotting it in the machine. And,  after appealing for the owner to come forward earlier today, we have now reunited them with their money. Thanks for all your help."
The amount involved is thought to have been £60.
